By accessing or using RepairFair at repairfair.live (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What RepairFair is

RepairFair provides AI-assisted estimates of car repair costs. Estimates are generated using a database of real-world repair and parts data combined with an AI model. They are intended as a reference point to help you evaluate quotes from mechanics - they are not a guarantee of cost, availability, or suitability for your specific vehicle.

3. No warranty - estimates may be wrong

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. Repair costs vary significantly by location, workshop, vehicle condition, and parts availability. RepairFair may make mistakes. Always consult a qualified mechanic before authorising any repair work. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from reliance on an estimate provided by the Service.

4. Your account

You must provide an accurate email address when creating an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.
Attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape the API, or abuse the AI features.
Submit content that is harmful, offensive, or designed to manipulate AI outputs.
Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute our repair/parts pricing database.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Service - including the repair and parts database, pricing methodology, and software - is owned by RepairFair. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RepairFair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to repair costs incurred in reliance on our estimates.

8. Changes to the Service

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms - we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
