After years of trading cars and motorcycles across Europe, I kept seeing the same problem: workshop quotes for the same job on the same vehicle vary by hundreds. Most drivers have no reference point, so they trust the first number they hear and often pay too much. RepairFair is the tool I wanted them to have.
Our mission
Help drivers pay fairer prices for vehicle repairs. Every estimate is grounded in real labour times, real parts data and current market prices. If a quote is fair, we say so. If it sits well above the reasonable range, we flag it.
Where we're going
Knowing the fair price is step one. Step two is finding the right place to get the work done. We are building toward a network of reputable, transparent workshops, vetted by us, so drivers can book a repair at a fair price from a garage that respects them.
How our pricing works
Every estimate is grounded in three datasets we maintain ourselves:
- Vehicle data: 27,000+ make, model and engine combinations with segment and complexity multipliers.
- Labour catalogue: 288 repairs with manufacturer-aligned labour hours and overlap rules so combined repairs are not double-charged.
- Parts catalogue: 425 parts with aftermarket and OEM price ranges, cross-referenced against live market listings for the specific vehicle.
AI helps us interpret what you describe and match it to the right entries. It does not set the prices. The numbers come from the data.
